Pear with ham and a horseradish cream

Sometimes I have this “mornings” when I don’t have time for anything. And it does not matter that I get up early, it’s just one of those times. Of course a lack of coffee could be an explanation (I’m a half-a-lunatic without it), but I know better than to fight with it.
This is when I grab a bowl, my favorite granola, yogurt, an apple and it makes me happy. But this year I want to go one step further and be ready and more creative. Someone wrote me, that today’s proposition is not a breakfast. Maybe it’s not, but I had it for breakfast and it made me very happy.

You will need:
- pear
- ham
- cream
- horseradish
- pepper
- parsley
Cut the pear in half lengthwise and clean it from seeds. In a cup mix 1 tablespoon of cream and 1 teaspoon of horseradish. Place ham on each half of the pear and top with some horseradish cream. Season with pepper and add a bit of parsley.
Mr T. suggests that it will be better if you fry a pear or place it in an oven for 5 minutes so it will be more soft. Most probably he’s right. I like my pear raw, but you can try whatever way you like :)
Enjoy, Marta
