When you move between different cities and have a chance to live in them for a while, you are a happy happy person (I am). But each action goes with reaction. What do I mean? There is a small chance that I’ll come back to Barcelona any time soon. I have not even a week left and I am wild. If you’re from Barcelona and you see crazy lady running around, eating as much as possible and telling everyone how much she likes this city, this may be me. So just ignore me and move on, hahaha.
I made a lemon and rosemary loaf today, not too big, just for me and Tomasz. We were supposed to grab a thermos with hot coffee at 7 am and see the sunrise while eating this loaf for breakfast on a beach. There is just one problem, it’s already gone. Yes, it didn’t have a chance to cool down. I found this recipe on a lovely blog Amy messenger. I really enjoy reading good blogs and am always happy to discover ones.
It is my last Friday over here so I need to run to Champaneria, it’s open only to 10pm, crazy city. Big hug to you all and have a perfect weekend!
You will need:
- 170g butter, room temperature
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- zest from 1 lemon
- 1/2 cup natural yogurt
- 3 eggs
- 1 & 1/2 cup flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
Preheat your oven to 170*C (350*F). In a bowl mix butter and sugar. You can use mixer but I don’t have it so I used fork. When ready add the rest of ingredients and combine them. Grease baking form with butter, place the dough inside and bake for about 45 minutes. Check it after 35 minutes with a toothpick :)
