When Mr T asked me what smells so good I told him that it must come from neighbours’ apartment. He did not look disappointed, he just said that he’s curious what they’re making. I was smiling inside, because the smell was coming out of our oven and I knew that what’s inside will make him very happy. There’s something magical about cinnamon, the smell, taste and that it goes so well with so many different kinds of food. Especially with baked goods.

Do you have these days from time to time, when you prepare a breakfast while your partner walks around you and asks each 5 seconds if he can eat it already? Well, I had a morning like this today and I have to admit that I wasn’t surprised. Each morning I get up quite early, I sit in front of my house and watch the Tatra mountains with a cup of coffee in my hands. And my life could look like this forever. All by myself.

Greetings from Zakopane! It’s simply amazing over here and I can see that spring took over the place. It’s very warm, everything around is growing, birds are singing, stream swims somewhere fast and everything makes me happy. I’ve already eaten about 1 kg of Oscypki, and will upload a recipe soon, but for now a recipe for biscuits with parmesan cheese that I baked for Tomasz before I left. I hope he misses me a lot ;)

Chleb piwno, serowo, musztardowy

I must admit that as soon as I saw this recipe on the blog  Smitten Kitchen, I knew that it will be my next breakfast. This is partly due to the fact that it reminds me of a beer bread I baked a while ago and fell in love with. Additionally, I ate that bread with cheddar cheese and it was deliciously again. And here we have it all together. And believe me, or better try it yourself, because it is something great and memorable. After baking, the cheese pieces are nicely separated, so we have a ready sandwich. It goes pretty well with fried egg and a healthy dose of pepper.
