Can you feel spring? It’s officially here. I can feel it in my bones and sun helps to believe in what’s happening. I hope that for the next two months it will be warm and beautiful. It’s hard to work with birds singing outside, but a girl has to do what she has to do.

When I was a little girl I used to beg my mother for scrambled eggs. I could eat it each day but there was one rule. It had to be just eggs, nothing more, maybe except for salt. When I was a teenagar my older sister used to feed me with eggs combined with each possible vegetable that was in the kitchen. I did not love it but I liked it.

What is the best possible breakfast option? I would say breakfast with friends. Especially when you miss them so much every day. It also helps when they like what you’ve prepared (it makes my heart sing).

A friend told me once that avocado is a natural butter and he could not imagine a breakfast without it. It was in Australia and we were aware of one market where during a magical hour you could get almost every kind of fruit or vegetable for A$1/1kg. Happy days! Nowadays I have to pay a bit more, but who’s complaining :)

iPhoto has just swallowed 2/3 of my pictures! Only few left (you can see it in a post) and it makes me very very unhappy. But a girl has to do what a girl has to do, so I’ll post this ones.

My souffle collapsed a bit, but was delicious. A friend told me that it takes a good good chef to make a souffle that won’t collapse. I think she’s right. Let me know if yours didn’t.

I’m already back in Berlin, after two memorable weddings, being a fake tourist in Amsterdam, being a fake tourist in London and eating a lot. Obviously holiday doesn’t mean that I’ve avoided cooking, but thanks to that, I can present you today a recipe for an Austrian omelette. It is sweet, contains raisins, a bit of sugar and is served with fruits - it’s fast, efficient and delicious. This time I had two helpers - Tomasz, who actually did something, and Kevin, who contributed a conversation. And if you ever had a problem with choosing a movie, you should definitely visit Kevin’s website: What movie should I watch tonight. What movie should I watch tonight. We like to mix a bit, so we did make some fried bacon, it went great with a sweet omelette.

Not many people know that I used to live in Las Vegas for a while. That where my crazy youth days (still, I was over 21 years old) full of casinos, parties and hangovers. But it was also a time, when I’ve discovered a mexican cuisine. We’ve found an amazing small food stand on the borders of the city, always full with people, and they served the best food in Las Vegas. It was always an amazing beginning of a night. Time passed (I’m still crazy young!), I live in Europe, but I still love mexican food and tortillas. As the weekend came, I suggest you to try out today’s recipe. It is very easy to prepare and the taste is unforgetable. Plus it made me so happy today ;)
