My friend, a great fan of ripe avocado, once told me he could not imagine a sandwich without it, because it’s a natural butter. There must be something in that. Avocado has unusual taste, but as an addition to the sandwiches, creates something perfect.
You will need:
- 2 ripe avocados
- 2 garlic cloves
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp mustard
Mix mashed avocado with a crushed garlic and combine with remaining ingredients.
Enjoy, Marta

I like your version Brett 🙂
Hi,I’ve got a suggestion for you, a very tasty spread I like a lot!Medium spicy roasted paprika hummus:1 can (15 oz) chickpea’s (drained and rinsed)
3,5 oz roasted red paprika (aka red peppers) from a bowl (Hungarian are the best)
3 tablespoon lemon juice (Meyer lemon are best here)
1,5 tablespoon Tahini
1 clove of garlic (chopped)
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (or more, I always use a full teaspoon)
1/4 teaspoon saltMash the chickpeas, red paprika, lemon juice, tahini, garlic, cumin, cayenne and salt in a blender or food processor. Pulse until the mixture is fairly creamy, and a bit fluffy.Spoon into a serving bowl and put at least 1 hour in the refrigerator. (The hummus can be made 3 days in advance. Bring to room temperature before serving). Drizzle, if desired, a little olive oil on top.Just give it a try. I hope you like it as much as I do.
Bon appetit!Greetings,
Jorg
