I made a cool thing today. Thing that should go in pair with a little boy or a girl. I made cocoa puffs! Don’t worry, adults can eat it as well (I made a small portion and everything is gone by the time I’m writing) but it must be so much fun to roll little balls with your children. If you’re looking for a nice addition to a very cold milk that you’re having for breakfast during a very hot days, this is something for you. It’s like little brownies swimming in your milk in a morning. How cool is this! Thank you Heather’s french press blog for posting this recipe!
You will need:
- 1 cup flour
- ¼ cup of cocoa powder
- ¼ cup of ground almonds
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 tbsp Greek yogurt
- 1 egg white
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
It is very easy. You need to combine all the ingredients in a bowl and then roll small balls, preferably in accompaniment of children. Bake it for 15 minutes in 175*C. Let it cool and then eat with a very cold milk 😉
Enjoy, Marta
it sounds tasty,as with all of these great recipes, but….i wish they wouldn’t look so..cocoa puffy. i had a rabbit when i was a kid,and that’s all i will say. 🙂
Does anyone know the nutritional information??
I totally love this. love love love this.
Oh wow. I didn’t know these were possible homemade! Love it. Thanks so much for sharing! 🙂 Oh and gorgeous pictures!
You are my hero!!
Every time we walk past the commercially sold cocoa puffs (the ones loaded with preservatives and additives) I have to go through the same discussion with the kids on why I refuse to buy them
Can’t wait to try these!
Really??? We still have two weeks left before kids start school. I’ll test this and eat for breakfast next day (unless we wake up early enough…). 🙂
PINNING THIS! omg want!
These are super cute and rather healthy too – unlike those you buy in a packet of cereal.
My husband would love it if I made him these. I never buy him cereal. I’m so mean, lol. Hope you have been well and have an excellent weekend.

I haven’t had cocoa puffs in years! And I had no idea you could roll your own! Terrific idea, and totally fun post – thanks.
What a fantastic blend! They look delicious!
Homemade cocoa puffs? I’m definitely in!!! Can’t wait. Love the bowl with the blackberries and cocoa puff!
Great idea. They sound like they are more healthier then the ones that you buy in the store, but they look just like them.
This is simply the best recipe I have ever seen. In my life. I used to eat cocoa puffs ALL. THE. TIME. More than rice krispies and fruit loops and cheerios combined!!
*virtual hug* 🙂
