Friday’s breakfast is a kind of preparation for a weekend, that’s why it should be easy, fast and healthy. The best idea would be to make it on Thursday’s evening, so you can simply grab it in the morning and enjoy.
Cottage cheese & yogurt parfait is a great recipe that I found on Simple Bites website. It’s easy to do without a recipe, but well, I’ll write it down.
What you need for two portions:
- ½ cup thawed fruit (fresh or frozen)
- 1 tbsp maple syrup (or honey)
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- ½ cup yogurt (vanilla or natural)
- ½ cup granola
Mix fruits with maple syrup and put on a side. Add yogurt to the cottage cheese and divide it between two jars/cups. Top them with thawed fruits and pour delicious natural juice from the bottom of a bowl. On the end sprinkle with granola and it’s ready.
Fast and yummy! You can eat it straight away or store it in a fridge for about a week.
Enjoy, Marta
