Eat Berlin – Cafe Kraft, Prenzlauer Berg

Most probably the best coffee in Berlin

The first thing that I’ve noticed in Cafe Kraft was an amazing colour of walls – mix of dark blue with grey. I’d love one of walls at my place to be of that shade! The first thing I said to a person behind the counter was “I’ve heard that you have great coffee over here and I hope it is, as I can have only one cup per day and it took me 40 minutes to get here”. And it was totally worth the travel as my latte was amazing! I also had a hot sandwich prepared with fresh ingredients – yummy.

The place is tiny and smells with a good coffee blend, so my favourite kind of smell. There’re two small tables on a side, a comfortable couch, long table top along big window, where you can comfortably enjoy your cup, work or look at the passing Berliners. Good news for those with need of wifi – it’s there, it works and it’s free of charge (yey!). Great tunes and a very friendly and talkative service made me spent there quite some time and it felt like home.

The owner wants to serve the best coffee in Berlin. I know, challenging and ambitious, but well, he’s on a good way as he knows what he’s doing. What I drank was truly delicious! Cafe Kraft is quite new, opened only in march, but already has it’s fans.

The place is dog friendly and apparently children friendly (I am going to check it out when I have a small attachment myself). So if you’re in Prenzlauer Berg this is the place to visit!

Cafe Kraft, Schivelbeiner Str. 23, 10439 Berlin

Mon – Fr 8:30am – 6pm, Sat-Sun 10am – 6pm

dog friendly, free wifi, laptop friendly

I can’t believe how many amazing places you find, Marta! Not sure if you mentioned this before, but do you come to the States once in a while? If so, do you have favorite places in LA? 😀
