We went to CK Cafe on a very hot saturday morning. It was 35*C, it felt like 40*C. We were biking and I did not have my morning coffee, so I felt like I’m still asleep. We went inside and asked if they serve an iced coffee, I heared “yes”. We ordered and sat outside, in the sun (not the best choice). And then the coffee came and a small extra – a cup of another iced coffee, just to try (what a lovely touch). It was an amazing liquid, we drank it and we felt alive again. Then we tried our “proper” coffee and it was super delicious as well. Sun stopped bothering us, we were sitting, enjoying our time together and drinking delicious coffee. Then we went inside to pay and we had a lovely chat with Cory. Apparently he likes coffee so much, that he makes his own while on a train.
We will be back for sure, to drink more and more coffee and to relax. And if you’re there on Thursday on Saturday, you can walk to the Kollwitzplatz and check out a local farmer’s market.
Enjoy, Marta

Lovely photos! I’m itching to get back to Europe very soon (Germany is on my to-go list + this cafe!). xo
I’ve been dreaming to visit Germany through your posts. Beautiful cafe, unlike chain cafes that I used to go… =P
What a perfect Saturday morning!!
Your pictures just take me to that space of tranquility..
A good cup of coffee before anything is very important!
Such a quaint little cafe. Love the moody photos 🙂
This place sounds wonderful. I love small coffee bars with owners who are passionate about making good coffee. Can’t believe that the owner makes his own on a train though…! Would love to try this place one day. Lovely photos Marta!
I love the first shot with the back of the chair, what a fabulous space!
I love cafe ck. The service is so nice and good. We were there for a cupping and will come back (but i am not living in berlin).
