Delicious spot in Berlin
I think that I’ve discovered my new favourite breakfast place in Berlin – Milja & Schäfa. They do serve a homemade pasta and other dinner dishes, but they care about breakfast kind of people as well. It’s a pity that I don’t live in Friedrischain anymore, but thanks to a good public transport, there is a chance that I’ll come over quite often.
Milja & Schäfa is a place to eat, but also to sit and relax. They made an amazing work with interior, I’m in love. Wood gives it a special touch, this kind of “being home” feeling. It’s warm, inviting and had a beautiful natural light. One part is perfect for a cup of coffee and a book, other to have breakfast with friends. If I didn’t have to chase my tiny kid all the time, I’d definitely go there with a good magazine.
What you’ll be happy to hear is that people working there are a dream team – friendly, helpful, simply pleasant. Food – very nice selection, it was delicious. You can stand in front of a big window and observe how homemade pasta is being made, which is pretty cool as well.
I took toasts with mushrooms, cheese and eggs and it was a nice bite. Coffee is not their strongest skill (hey, I like my coffee to be very specific), but everything else is so amazing, that it’s definitely not a disadvantage.
They play a lovely and positive music inside, and the music has an impact on our good mood doesn’t it? This place made me simply happy. Maybe because of food, maybe interior, maybe music, but something works here. So go there and enjoy. And look through these big windows. I definitely need to go back when Berlin will be covered in snow.

Wow this place looks amazing!

And is tasty as well 🙂
This reminds me so much of Teochef in Bassano del Grappa, Italy! Both are great spaces, great food!
