Eat Berlin – Mundvoll, Kreuzberg

Delicious breakfast spot.

I was supposed to write this post last week, but my girl has decided that she wants to be “one” with me again. She can’t go back inside, so she’s chosen to be attached to me 24/7. This is a sweet and comfy state, she smells like heaven and I can lie with her all day and night. But as long as I’m not comfortable with putting my laptop on a sleeping newborn – writing wasn’t really possible. Whenever I was trying to put her next to me she’s opened her eyes and sent me this “what are you doing woman” kind of look. So how was your week? Mine was all about hugging Mia.

Going back to the subject – Mundvoll is a lovely place in Kreuzberg. I’ve been there few times and during each of them I saw plenty of tiny kids and pregnant women around. Maybe because I was pregnant at the time, or maybe this is a place where mums like to come, I have no idea. One is for sure – it is a good and friendly place.

I had my regular – a breakfast meal. I tried brioche and it was amazing! My bircher muesli didn’t just look nice, it was delicious as well. Menu is much bigger and you can enjoy lunch and dinner.

I liked a friendly service and interior. They have this amazing grey wall and minimalistic wooden tables and chairs. Everything creates a perfect mood. I was sitting there with Jessica for few hours observing people coming and going and I figure that this is a popular spot among locals. And during a cold and wet Berlin winter, it is super cosy and perfect for a chat with a friend.

This is relatively unrelated to the post, but what sort of camera do you use for your photos? They all look stunning!

LOL ohhhh that stare, I know….I’m still getting used to Selah’s “what are you doing” woman” stares which result in utter guilt, but I’m flexible and thankfully get over it quickly, haha. Love hearing about your mommy journey, Marta! And happy 2015!!!!!

That muesli looks interesting in that container. A baby snuggled against you is the most natural position for mother and baby. I ended up putting mine in a side sling so that I could work.

Aww I miss those days that I could spend the whole day hugging and snuggling with my babies! Now they don’t need me much and do their own thing…even mama wants a big snuggle! Enjoy every moment with Mia, Marta! This place sounds so cozy and nice! It was wonderful to follow you this year. I look forward to seeing how Mia grow and reading your updates on your site in 2015!
