Roamers is a beautiful place with sweet owners, good food, amazing atmosphere and friendly service. If you can fell in love with a place, it happened when I went for a coffee to Roamers for the first time. I am not sure what was the reason – minimalistic yet cosy interior, which’s been created by owners who pay attention to details, a killer coffee which is so good that so far each time I had two, homemade and fresh cakes, or honestly good food.
I had a small chat with one of the owners and he told me that they open at 9 am (except for Mondays), but food is served later, as they make everything freshly in the morning and they don’t serve leftover from the previous day. For me it was like a magical sentence and I admire their passion for this place.
As you relax over a coffee you can listen to some good music. It made me stop thinking about work, phone or my “to do” list. When I left Roamers I felt like going to a forest for a walk. And I liked this feeling.
I had poached eggs and it was simply good. Not too much, not to little, a good breakfast. Then I had brownie – you want to try it. With a next visit I’ve tried their chocolate cake with topping made out of ricotta cheese and oh mama, it was so good.
They’re totally ok with you sitting there with your laptop, and we all need a break from a home routine from time to time, don’t we.
The only disadvantage of this place is, that it’s not in my neighbourhood and I have to be jealous of my friends living in Neukölln.
Roamers, Pannierstraße 64, Tue – Sun: 9:00 am – 8:00 pm, wi-fi.
That looks like my sort of place. But after all, it is all about the food and the service.
I need to make a trip to Berlin just to discover all the great places you’ve posted about! This looks wonderful — thanks.
