Berlin is an amazing city, that’s why there’s so many people who comes for a visit. Living in a popular city has it’s consequences – you don’t go to the touristy areas that often. Of course it’s interesting and definitely worth seeing, that’s why I’ve already seen it. The second consequence will be – overpriced and always busy cafes and restaurants.
But there’s this one great place – Westberlin coffeebar & mediashop, located very close to Checkpoint Charlie. Thanks to it, I visit Potsdamer Platz not only to see a movie in original (dubbing kills it and I know that it’s a brave statement for someone coming from a country, where a lector reads over the original voices.)
It has a very good coffee, delicious sandwiches and cakes that will give you energy for some more walking and a very nice selection of magazines and books, that you can buy as well. In a sunny day you can sit in a small garden area on back, when it’s not that sunny, grab a coffee and watch Berlin through a big window.

Monet you’ll love it. Especially weekend food and flea markets. Coffee places are delicious, restaurants cheap and yummy. I am discovering Barcelona at the moment, but I miss Berlin 🙂 And you definitely have to let me know when you’re in Berlin, hopefully with Lucy, so I can meet three of you 🙂
I just absolutely love your photography! it’s a real joy to look at
Sounds like a terrific place! Your photos really make it look so enticing. Thanks for this.

So beautiful! I’m inspired by your blog everyday. Keep up the great work (:

I never knew how badly I wanted to visit Berlin until I started following you and your blog. It’s now one of my top destinations. I have a folder where I save all your restaurant and cafe recommendations. I’ll visit one day soon!
