Ferry Plaza Farmers’ Market, San Francisco

Hugs from San Francisco! I don’t have to asure you that I’m already in love with this city, do I?

Hugs from San Francisco! I don’t have to asure you that I’m already in love with this city, do I? I can’t get enough of little streats, trams, beautiful architecture, cafes and people. I eat definitely too much as there’s too many delicious little places to visit. Each day I discover something new and beautiful. The only thing that saves me is walking around, and in San Francisco it’s mostly up hill, hahaha.

I’ve heared a lot about food markets in San Francisco and I visited the most popular one (I think) Ferry Plaza Farmers’ Market.

My flatmates work hard during the week days, so for my little trip I went with Pati, who loves to have a good bite. I must admit that I eat with my eyes first and this market made me full within the first 5 minutes. I love the way they present fruits and vegetables, everything looks fresh, delicious and colorful.

I was also fascinated by small kitchens on a back of stands, and could not wait to eat pancakes or crepes or freshly made hot sandwiches. I wasn’t the only one, during the lunch hours the lane was long. I had a hot-dig, I know it does not sound exciting, but it was supposed to be super extra delicious one, it was not. But I’m polish and we love sausages in my country plus I live in Berlin, and Germans are crazy about their. So it’s difficult to make an amazing hot-dog that will blow my mind. Pati took a noodle soup and was very happy with her choice.

We’ve found more inside of a Ferry Building. There are many small butiques with anything you could like to buy to make an amazing meal – mushrooms, bread, chocolate, coffee, beautiful plates and cookbooks. I dod not get wild with shoppind as I realzed that it’s a bit more expensive over there than in other stores, but it was definitely worth visiting. And I’ll be back to have something alse to eat for sure.

Hmmm glad to hear you enjoyed the farmer’s market! You take such great pictures… I’ve been there many times with camera but NONE of them come out like this. lol.
