This one is not only delicious, but also so easy that I can do it in my van.
We’ve been on the road for over a week now. We packed our apartment, got rid of 80% of what we owned and packed our van. I do hope that this precious vehicle can manage us on board for the next 1-2 years, as 27 years for a car is not a little. We head to Denmark, as we had to be in the area for a while. There is so many things to organise before hitting the road and the post is only one of them. Yesterday we got back to Berlin because I had to pick up some props for work and because we were waiting for an important letter. The letter didn’t come yet (life), but it does not mean that we will stick around. We’re going to explore Germany, or at least as much as we can.
On another note, coming home to your totally empty apartment is a strange thing. We left some furnitures and that’s it. It felt like we just moved in and it was a kind of a time travel experience. I remember moving in with 6 months old Mia, it was such a huge change in our lives. And now we are saying goodbye to this place for a longer time.
I will write a separate post on how we packed the house, said goodbye to most of our things and how it is to live in 12m2. For now I’ll share a recipe with you, as I didn’t do it for a while.
We all need our vitamins and by this I mean many veggies in the stomach that keep us healthy and we need to pretty much repeat this everyday day. They say that green veggies are super awesome. Let’s not go into details who says it and why. Let’s just assume that if we drink one nice juicy smoothie a day and we will add a lot of greens to it, we will make ourselves some good.
This one is not only delicious, but also so easy that I can do it in my van. It is also a very nice way to give some vitamins to our kids. Mia loves the colour, agave syrup and the orange juice make it yummy and she does not ask what is inside, at least not yet (spinach and broccoli are already the taboo words).
I love to have a glass of it in a morning because it’s very refreshing, kind of like a cold shower, which I never take. If taking a cold shower is a no-breaker, try this smoothie instead.
YOU WILL NEED:
- handful fresh mint
- handful spinach
- 1 apple
- juice from 1/2 lemon
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 cm ginger
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp agave syrup, optional
Best, Marta
Hi Marta, I love your posts and photos. What camera/lens did you use for the above photos – the green juice on the table? Thank you. Lucie

Marta you are so brave, you’re really my role model. I can’t wait to follow your adventures and live vicariously through your experiences and your eyes!!
