I am a bit tired lately. I work alot, learn german each day, sit through the night and when I’ll finally have a moment to rest, I’ll be sleeping for a week. Do you know Club Mate? It’s a popular drink with caffeine in Berlin and I think I am addicted to it already. I have my beloved cup of coffee in a morning and then I have a bottle of Club Mate in my bag during the day 🙂 But I need vitamins as well and this green drink will give you some. It’s tasty as well 🙂

You will need:

  • ½ big cucumber lub 1 small, cut in cubes
  • handful of spinach
  • 1 apple, cut in small cubes
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, cut in small pieces
  • juice squeezed from 1 lime
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • few leaves of mint (6-8)
  • 1 cup water
  • optionally ice cubes to serve

Place everything in blender and blend well 🙂

Enjoy, Marta

this is an interesting idea Charles. It is a bit sweet thanks to an apple. Cayenne pepper will go great with it. I’ll add it next time 🙂
