It happened, I’m officially sick. Oranges did not help. On Saturday we had an amazing weather over here so I did walk around the city, it was mistake. I lost my voice and I feel like after a fight with a professional wrestler.

And now I look outside my window and want to follow the sun but Dr T. says I can’t. I feel like a prisoner.

To make my life better I started to look for a good and easy recipe, so it won’t take too much of preparation and will make me a happy gal again. I found it over here, but I did not use microwave, as I have no idea how to use the one I have in my present apartment. I liked it. I will do it again in a moment of need but next time I’ll add more blueberries.

You will need (for 1):

  • ¼ cup flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • a bit of salt
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • ½ tbsp butter
  • 2-3 tbsp milk
  • blueberries

A beautiful thing about this recipe is, that you can prepare it just for you. In a cup (good for baking) combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Add butter and using your fingers rub it with dry ingredients. Add milk and mix it all well. Push as many blueberries as you like in and it’s ready. Bake it for 20-30 minutes in 150*C. You can also microwave it on high for 90 seconds. I did not try it, but an author of this recipe says it will work.

My muffins did not end up being golden, but were well baked inside. I ate it with a maple syrup – yummy.

Enjoy, Marta

Oh no. I’m sorry you’re sick! If you were in Berlin, I’d make and bring you some chicken soup. When are you coming back? And love this little muffin! But I’d definitely microwave it. I couldn’t wait 20 minutes for a tiny little muffin. I’m too impatient.

Looks so yummy. I will definitely try it. Next time you are about to get sick but are not there yet, take “Umcka”. Its a homeopathic remedy I get from the health food store. My whole family uses it. It works if you use it as directed.
