I’m about to pack for a longer holiday, and it’s so hard. I’ve been trying to do it during the weekend, but 2,5 day is not enough to make myself do it. Most probably I’ll throw a couple of clothes 5 minutes before I left apartment.

But it 2 days I’ll be in Zakopane and will hike in polish mountains. You know what is even better? Food!I’m not sure if you’re familiar with oscypki, but I’ll eat if each day! Hopefully I’ll manage to post a recipe with it.

But now I’m trying to fill out my fridge with food for T. I have scones in a freezer, ready to bake and a few jars with an overnight oatmeal. It is delicious, and can last for a week or so.And you don’t have to cook it!

You will need:

  • old fashioned rolled oats
  • milk
  • yogurt
  • fruits you like
  • cocoa
  • sugar (I prefer mine without)

Preparation takes a minute. Pour the oatmeal to a height of 1/3 of a jar, add another 1/3 jar of milk and add 2 tablespoons of yogurt. Shake the jar and place it in the fridge for a night. I like to add fresh fruits in the morning, but you can also add it in the evening, before living your delicious jar in the fridge.

My favorite one is with 1 tablespoon of cocoa and banana.Tastes like heaven.

Enjoy, Marta
