I’ve made pancakes! Sounds like nothing special, but since I come from the crepe’s country, it’s special for me. I did it once or twice before, but it was never as good as this ones. And everything thanks to a simple recipe from This Homemade Life blog. It is tasty and too easy not to try it. It will basically take you 5 minutes to prepare a dough and 10 more to bake little precious 🙂
What you need:
- 1 cup wheat flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
Combine dry and wet ingredients in separate bowls and when it’s done combine them. You can use a big pan to cook it, from this amount of dough you can expect to get around 8 not too big pancakes – enough for one person or a couple.
I’ve decided to try it out with freshly baked bacon and maple syrup. And gosh it was a great choice.
Enjoy! Marta
