I’ve started to attend Bikram Yoga sessions again. I wasn’t planning on doing it, not at all I must say. You ask why? I did it 2 years ago for a month and each time (I was there over 20 times) I thought I was dying. Seriously, I could not breath, I could not walk or talk. It was hard. Now you may have a new question – why the hell would I do it again?! The answer is simple – I’m cold. I’m so cold that I need to go there. Don’t understand me wrong, I love winter but this year it seems my body can’t handle it. 40 degrees for 1,5h can be a blast from time to time.
After a session I feel like coming back from a volleyball game on a beach and I need a nice refreshing drink, that is full of vitamins and will make me sing. I made one. Try it yourself. I made mine in a blender and it was thick and delicious.
You will need:
- 2 pears, cut in small pieces
- 1 cucumber, cut in small pieces
- handful fresh mint
- ½ cup mineral water
Place everything in a blender and shake it baby!
The mint must make this so refreshing 🙂
I don’t think I could handle bikram yoga, cold weather or not. But I can still have this shake for breakfast, right?! 🙂
Very healthy shake, look refreshing. Love the combination. 🙂
So all the best for joining Bikram yoga once again. The shake looks lovely and light. Pears are one of my favourites….so I am going to try this hsake.http://cosmopolitancurryman…

beautiful photos! I’ve always wanted to try bikram yoga, it sounds really challenging
This sounds positively delicious…you’ve inspired me to look into yoga (I neeeever work out) 🙁
This is a perfect drink after yoga. I love the combo of pears and cucumber..must be very fresh!
What a refreshing shake! I sometime make a cucumber mint salad so this shake is definitely one I’d love!
Now that is a delicious sounding shake! Those ingredients sound wonderful together.
That bottom picture is beautiful. Really excellent photography. And the recipe looks pretty darn tasty, too! Super stuff – thanks.
Just made this – for dinner actually. Vow! Such a fresh combo of flavours! Totally in love. Will be making again tomorrow. This time for breakfast. ;)xxNeelu
This looks fresh and simple. I tried yoga once or twice but I am not very supple and felt like a goof next to the others.
Looks great! 😀 Congratulations.. Oh, dear.. I want spring…..!!
Hmmm, this could be an interesting combination. Everything screams freshness and refreshment 🙂
It’s fantastic that you’re doing yoga again! Hot yoga is intense… sometimes I feel like I’ll faint during an asana. Just make sure to stay hydrated, and in time it gets easier. Well, not easier, but you won’t feel like you’re dying! Also, see if your studio offers a meditative or restorative yoga. Balancing the body-challenging yoga with the mind-challenging yoga helps make sinking into a pose easier.
A deliciously healthy drink.Lovely still life.Cheers,Rosa
Sounds like a really refreshing drink!
Just made this one and I have to say that this shake is absolutely delicious! So refreshing and yet sweet!
