I’m telling you, it is too easy and too tasty not to try. With all this pumpkin around you’ll surely have a pumpkin puree left overs. If you make this shake once, I am sure you’ll make it the second time very soon. I saw a picture of a pumpkin shake on Pinterest and I ended up on Dine and Dish blog. Just few changes and here it is 🙂
As a child I used to terrorize my grandma to make me an apple puree. It was thick and sweet and I could not eat enough of it. I loved it. Nowadays I need to find someone to make this Yummy shake for me 🙂
You will need:
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 apple
- 1 banana
- 1 cup soy milk
- 1 tbsp honey
- pinch of nutmeg
- pinch of cinnamon
- granola for topping
To make a pumpkin puree cut pumpkin in pieces, peel it from skin and bake in 150*C for about 25 minutes. Then blend it or place in a bowl and smash like I did. When it cools, place puree in blender, add banana, apple, milk, honey and spices. Blend it well. Serve with granola on top.
Enjoy, Marta
Slurp!!! Your breakfast ideas are out of the world!

Pumpkin in a shake!?!? What a brilliant and new idea to me! I would love to make this. I could make a pumpkin pie for dessert and then use the extra puree to make this smoothie the following morning. Thank you for sharing!
If this doesn’t scream fall, nothing does. What a delicious shake!
Really lovely! This must have wonderful flavor. Super stuff – thanks.
Alright, I’ll try it, but only because you told me to 😛
That does look really good and full of goodness.
