I made some delicious and sweet things for breakfast. Some of them were time consuming and cost me a lot of effort. One of these things were french toasts. You know why? Because I made my own brioche. Sounds easy? Not really as I did not have a mixer and I had to mix dough with my own hands. It took me three attempts to finally made one that grew properly.
And now forget about all the difficult things as today I made delicious and simple french toasts and I loved it. I found an idea on Diethood and I must tell you it was too easy to be that good.
You will need (for two):
- 8 slices toast bread
- ¼ cup milk
- ¼ cup greek yogurt
- 1 egg
- fresh raspberries,
- fresh blueberries
- Nutella
- ½ avocado
- 50g butter for frying
- caster sugar
- maple syrup
Cut of the sides of a toast and use something to make it flat (I took a big jar, you can use a kitchen roller). Flatten the bread and then spread whatever you like on it. I chose crushed raspberries with sliced avocados, crushed blueberries and chocolate spread.
Roll the toasts.
In a soup plate mix milk, yogurt and the egg.
Heat a frying pan with butter.
Then cover rolled toasts with a milk mix (do it fast, you don’t want your toasts to soak) and fry on a medium heat until golden around.
Serve with a custard sugar and a maple syrup.
Enjoy, Marta
