I think I could honestly write that all roads in Berlin will take you to Markthalle Neun. I have no idea how it all works, but I generally end up in this area. There’s nothing to complain about, as I usually visit one on my many favorite spots over there. The great thing about this place is that it develops. Last week I went there to buy some delicious veggies and I’ve discovered two new places (at least new for me).
Sironi – Italian bakery with breads to die for. I had ciabatta with tomatoes and I ate half of it at once and another half 1 hour later, when I got home (Mr T is on holiday so I didn’t have to share). Sironi is located inside the market, just follow the smell of a fresh bread.
Cafe 9 – located just next to an entrance. O mama, they have a good coffee. Apparently they’re planning on opening a roastery as well. Would be great. The place is small, minimalistic and very into coffee. I can see autumn days, me sitting on a bench up front, drinking coffee and catching sun. Because it will be a very sunny Autumn!
What a great looking place! I want to go! Lucky you! 😉
Just follow the smell of bread……hehehehe!! Incredible pictures.
I agree with Joanna. I’m always so excited to stop by your site! You have me dreaming of a relaxing European breakfast..

Don’t ya love finding cafe gems?! Very cool cafe indeed. When you find great coffee, it sets the benchmark.
Wow. Yum!
Your photos are so beautiful and so is that bread! Is there anything better than a thick slice of crusty bread? I don’t think so. 🙂
Oh what a beautiful shop! Coffee and bread! You couldn’t make me happier. Thank you for sharing, sweet Marta!
To die for is right, your photos of this beautiful bakery and cafe are incredible 😀

I’d probably spend so much time in that bakery that they would put my name on a chair. 🙂 Gorgeous pictures as always!
