It may help you to trick your kid…
Do you miss my kitchen table? If not, don’t worry, I miss it for everyone. The only thought that is warming my hearts, is that someone uses it on every day basis. This is a very special piece of furniture and it should be used.
Before we left on this road trip, we packed and cooked a lot. I guess it is because we knew, that we will miss our kitchen. We also wanted to trick Mia into eating something else than a strawberry toast, so we’ve decided to create little cute sandwiches that she would love to try. It did not work that well. She did try them and then she said “no no no” with the biggest smile. The advantage is that we did try them and we loved them. It turned out that we are not the trickiest people in the world, but we will keep on trying.
You will need (for 2):
- 8 slices of bread
- 2 tbsp mustard
- 8 slices of honey ham (or any ham you like)
- 8 slices of cheese (havarti will be nice but also cheddar is ok)
- butter for frying
Depends on a size of your bread slices, cut out so many tiny round sandwiches as you can. I made 3 out of one big sandwich. You can use a cookie round shape to cut it (easy one) or you can press the shape with a glass and help yourself with a knife.
Melt butter on a frying pan and fry on both sides until golden and crispy.
Enjoy, Marta
