I’ve been having toasts a’la Jamie Olivier for breakfast for years now. I really like it, especially it feels light like a cloud. It reminds me home wherever I am plus it’s easy to make. Try it, maybe it will be your breakfast as well 🙂
What you need:
- two slices of a toast bread
- mozzarella
- 1 egg
- milk
- flour
- salt and pepper
- oil
Cut off skin of a toast. Prepare three small plates and fill them with milk, flour and bitten egg. Cut few slices of mozzarella, place them between two slices of toast and use your fingers to glue the edges together (if it doesn’t feel like connecting, you can use a little bit of egg to help yourself). Then dunk it in milk then flour, bitten egg and place it on a heated pan with a bit of oil. Fry both sides on a small heat, to make mozzarella melt inside. I like it the best served with cranberries’ jam!
