I had an amazing experience in one of the Amsterdam’s cafes. I went there for a coffee during ones of these foggy days (yes, we have a Twilight Zone over here) and just because the place was too cosy to leave, I’ve ordered a snack as well. Simple tortilla with camembert and honey, and OMG it is tasty! I’ve decided to recreate it at home with a bit of change.
You will need:
- tortilla
- camembert
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp mustard
- 2 tbsp white wine
Simply put a slices of camembert on a half of tortilla, grease a big frying pan with some oil and heat your tortilla on both sides so it will be nicely golden and camembert will melt. In a small jar mix honey, mustard and wine and pour it inside the tortilla.

this is great ! we do this with our savory (buckwheat) pancakes here in western france, we use all combinations… of cheese, bacon, smoked salomn, mushroom etc…
