I have this periods in my life when I decide to be super extra healthy, stop eating sugar (I love you!) and to concentrate on a good stuff. I know I should do it all the time, but life is not perfect and nor am I 🙂 That’s why my today breakfast was all about a carrot juice. In a past I used to be kind of addicted to it, than I had a lond break (no juice squeezer around) and now the time for a come back came. Obviously I’ve started to read how healthy and beautiful I’ll become after dinking it. And apparently I will! Not to go into too many details:
- it will help to strengthen my eyes
- bones and teeth will be happy,
- the healthy body tissues will be maintained
- it will help me to resistance to infections
- my skin will be perfect
- my liver will love me again
I think it’s worth trying. What do you think?
Enjoy, Marta

Little-known fact! Carrots actually don’t really help your eyesight. It is a myth, begun and propagated by Britain in WWII to hide the use of a new type of radar, which “explained” why Brits could see Nazi bombers at night. http://www.snopes.com/food/…Sorry to come up in here and spout off that little bit – I love love love this blog, came to you through Flickr. Definitely following you now! And carrots are still really good for you, eyesight or not. 🙂
I don’t think I’ve ever had carrot juice! I will have to rectify this soon!

Wow, in my country there was a kind of a fashion on the carrot juice, so everyone around were drinking it. You should try it, and let me know if you like it 🙂
I dunno to be honest – when it’s mixed up with tomato, beetroot, celery, radish juice then it’s ok, but I always find carrot juice on its own is a bit like melon juice… a bit flat and unexciting – for me at least. It always has a fabulous colour though!

oh wow, I love the taste, especially when it’s just a pure carrot juice. But I agree that it is great when you mix it with extra fruits and vegetables.
Great informative post! Well, to be honest with you… probably I haven’t had carrot juice for nearly 8-10 years, I think. :-O Now that I have two young children, I totally think about the choice of juice!

I always say better late than never. I had a long break as well 🙂
It’s been ages since I’ve had carrot juice! Not my favorite, but pretty good. I need to have some again, and soon. Thanks for the reminder!

thanks for dropping by 🙂
Funny you ask… Saturday morning I had a carrot zinger shot at a hotel I was staying. Very yum.

and it tastes even better when you don’t have to squeeze it 😀
I totally think it’s worth trying….I’ve never had carrot juice but it does seem really healthy and I could use some of that!

It is indeed and I can say that the flavor is wow!
Instead of drinking juice, I’ll prefer to chew on carrots..
